The Policy & Procedure Manual for Home Health was developed to offer template examples of policies and procedures that meet the CMS Conditions of Participation on which ACHC Standards are based. Each organization is expected to customize the individual policies and procedures to reflect its services, organizational structure and delivery model.
The manual provides:
• Guidance to support compliance with federal regulations
• Best practice procedures for human resources and employee orientation
• Job descriptions and an Emergency Preparedness Plan
• Patient record procedures
Two purchase options are available.
Option 1: One-time purchase of the manual. One-time purchase of the manual only. After purchase, the Policy & Procedure Manual will be available for download in Word and PDF formats to be customized. Under this option, an organization will need to revise policies and procedures to incorporate regulatory updates.
Option 2: Subscription-based purchase of the manual plus all updates for one-year (renewable). With this option, we do the work for you, responding to regulatory changes with revised policies or procedures developed by ACHCU industry experts.
After purchase, the Policy & Procedure Manual will be available for download in Word and PDF formats. Updates will be sent to the email on the account as they are released. At the end of the subscription year, you will be offered the option to renew for another 12 months.
