First AI Lab: From AI Hype to Healthcare Impact — Hands-On with the Scribble App

In the inaugural ACHCU AI Lab, you’ll explore how AI is being applied across post-acute care and get hands-on experience with Scribble, an AI-powered point-of-care documentation tool designed for home health.

One day before the Lab, attendees will download the Scribble App to their smartphones. During the session, you’ll use the app in a guided mock Home Health start-of-care scenario to see how ambient AI can capture relevant clinical information and help transform it into structured documentation, including OASIS-related information.

ACHCU AI Lab

The ACHCU AI Lab is an interactive virtual program giving healthcare leaders a practical look at AI, from emerging trends and regulations to real-world applications. Offered every six months, each Lab provides a distilled briefing on what matters now, featuring the latest tools and insights from a strategic industry partner.

What you’ll take away

You’ll also examine where human review remains essential and what healthcare leaders should consider when evaluating and implementing AI solutions within their organizations.

The ACHCU AI Lab is more than a one-time seminar. It’s a recurring briefing designed to keep healthcare leaders informed, engaged, and prepared as AI continues to evolve.

The goal is simple: translate the latest AI innovation into practical, hands-on strategies leaders can put to work now — not someday.

By the end of the first AI Lab session, you will be able to:

  • Distinguish between general-purpose AI and tools purpose-built for healthcare.
  • Identify practical AI applications across documentation, quality assurance, intake, and workflow automation.
  • Evaluate AI tools with privacy, accuracy, compliance, human oversight, and workflow fit in mind.
  • Explain how ambient AI can capture clinical information and translate it into structured documentation.

One session, four parts, zero fluff.

Every minute of the room is accounted for — from executive overview to hands-on lab to action planning.
